Kampala - School Report Question and Answers

Does the school have a library? How large is it? How updated are the books? Can students borrow books to read at home?

Yes, it is a decent sized by (my son describes) "an American public school has a bigger library". Some books may be available to check out but he has been told books weren't for his class so he could not borrow them - Nov 2019


Yes. They have a nice library with a large variety of books. The toddler through pre-k classes borrow books as a weekly activity to take home. - Sep 2018


The school has a sizable library, divided into JS and SS levels. students can check out books and have 'library' class in junior school. In addition there are books in languages other than English, as the school also has a 'mother tongue' program for junior school that goes beyond the general French and Spanish classes offered as part of the regular curriculum. Books in these other languages are also housed in the library for check out. - Jun 2018
