Bangkok - School Report Question and Answers

What letter grade (ranging from A, excellent, to F, fail) would you assign to this school based on your overall experience? Would you choose it again?

A. Every school has room for improvement, but St. Andrews 71 puts their money where their mouth is. I would absolutely choose St. Andrews 71 again. The school has met all of our academic and social needs, and we could not be happier - Aug 2023

C- ISB has fantastic sports programs and awesome facilities (A+ if these were the only criteria). Unfortunately, the values of the school do not align with ours. In our family we believe that academic excellence and critical thinking are paramount ingredients to success, had we known the school better, we would not have chosen it. - Mar 2023

Overall grade would be a D. We would not choose this school again due to its lack of transparency of some of the controversial topics it promotes such as diversity, equity, inclusion and justice, LGBTQ issues, gender identity and racism. We do not believe these topics should be taught in schools and they should focus on traditional teaching such as math, science, reading, writing, art, sports, etc. - Jan 2023

A, the school met my expectations, but the online work at home could have had some more exercises for the children; perhaps that is the new way of teaching in IB schools? Patana was the best experience for my child compared to schools in Virginia. She enjoyed her time at Patana, and does not want to leave. Patana also had a lot of school spirit. - Apr 2019

A, and yes, I would choose it again - Jun 2018

A We'll be there until the end of our tour in 2021. - Jun 2018
