I do not have any first hand experience. Overall, these types of services are quite limited in Hanoi. UNIS Hanoi administrators have been frank in community meetings that while they strive to offer services for students with special needs - and do -- they also are constrained by staff resources. They have said they cannot hire enough specialists to meet the needs for literacy, speech, occupational therapy, etc.... and therefore have to turn away some students with learning disabilities / special needs. - Apr 2025

At the Elementary School level, Concordia does not offer a formalized program to support children with learning exceptionalities. If a child comes to Concordia with an IEP, Concordia can meet classroom level accommodations, but does not offer program modifications to meet the learning needs of students who have been diagnosed as having learning difficulties. Concordia does not offer any therapy nor diagnostic services, rather referring students to local area professional providers, when available. - Nov 2020
