Belgrade - School Report Question and Answers
Are there are any problems with exclusionary behavior, cliques, or bullying at this school? Please describe any problems your children may have experienced in this area.
The school is excellent when it comes to their anti-bullying. The climate at the school feels very much like a community and when students have seen another student say something unkind to someone, they have always reported it to teachers and come together to make the targeted child feel included. It's extremely rare for it to even happen at the school. We felt that from the moment we arrived. Our child was immediately brought in and felt part of the group. For example, a buddy was assigned to our child to help them adapt because we came at midyear. After a while, our child was more than adapted but still requested to have the buddy. It was a comfort. And every day, a student still volunteered to be that person for our child. I think that speaks highly of the inclusivity of the school. - Aug 2026
While there have been episodes of bullying at the Upper School, the new Principal took it very serious and made it known it would not be tolerated. I have heard of instances if what some believed to be bullying in the lower school, however personally feel that bullying may be seen differently by different people and therefore could be a seen differently than our experiences. - Mar 2016
