Do you feel that it is safe to walk, run or hike outside? Are there areas where bike riding is possible? What is the availability and safety of outdoor space for exercising? Are these easily accessible?
I don’t think you’re in much physical danger here in Sierra Leone. But there is the occasional robbery that you have to be aware of. I think the biggest issue would be the lack of good sidewalks. You’d probably injure yourself walking around outside before you get hurt by someone else. There is Leicster Peak where some embassy staff like to hike. - May 2025
