Yes, very much so. However, expats here are easily taken advantage of, so buying a "high quality cheap carpet" is just not going to happen. It is generally inexpensive here, but you do get what you pay for. More and more goods appear to be imported from China and elsewhere - and they work for the most part, but don't expect to make heritage purchases here. - Jun 2014
