Vilnius - School Report Question and Answers

Describe the physical education resources at the school. Is there a gym? A swimming pool? Are there playing fields or tennis courts available?

Around 4 years ago, a brand new and quite impressive gym was added to the school complete with locker rooms and an indoor track area. It is nice! Also there is a relatively new soccer field on the premises. There are separate playgrounds for preschool/K students, lower school students, and a small climbing area for upper school. There is an outdoor basketball court. Students use a nearby swimming pool for the swim team. Parents are responsible for bringing their child there for practice, then the school/instructor brings them to the school afterwards. - Sep 2018

A. My older child really loves the PE teacher, and it seems like the program really pushes them to be active. - May 2013

C (moving to A+) - AISV's facility doesn't have a gymnasium or a sporting field, so students are bussed to a gymnasium for PE and sports. There is a big construction project in the works to build a new sportshall and soccer pitch on the school grounds. The school hopes to break ground in summer 2013. This will greatly contribute to what the school has to offer. - Apr 2013
