Reykjavik - School Report Question and Answers

Please tell us anything else you think prospective parents and students should know about this school. Thanks for your contribution!

Overall, we were happy with our child's experience at ISI. He enjoyed going to school, made many friends, and never complained that he was bored. The school is very flexible with grade placement, so if parents' feel that their child should be up or down a grade, I think it would be easy to work with the school administration to find the right placement. The school also conducts MAP testing in the fall and spring, so parents can see how their child is doing in math and reading/language compared to other children at that grade level, and can also see their child's progress over time. - Jun 2023

I would urge incoming families to do their research. You might also want to wait and make a decision about the school after having visited each school. - Jul 2022

We felt like the school played down issues that should have been taken more seriously. - Jan 2022
