Reykjavik - School Report Question and Answers

What extra-curricular activities (including sports) are available at this school? Have your children participated in these activities? What activities do you feel are missing at the school?

Extra-curricular activities include after-school clubs several days a week. These clubs are for different age groups and have included a variety of different activities over the years (depending on what teachers are available and what they can teach) - topics have included languages (Spanish, French, Chinese), crafting, outdoor education, games, homework help, etc. Our child has done several of these clubs each year. Some he enjoyed very much; others were not as interesting or fun for him. In Iceland, sports are not available through the schools, they are only available through community-based sports clubs. - Jun 2023
