What are some typical ways to socialize, either with local people or with other expatriates? Are there groups or clubs that you can recommend?
Off the board. Greeks are extraordinarily social animals. They will go out six nights a week if they can, and will complain about the one night they didn't get to see their friends. The catch to this is that it is quite difficult to make it into this circle of friends, but once you are in, you are in all the way. They are truly loving and caring once they like you. - Aug 2006
