The Economist, Newsweek, Time and the International Herald-Tribune are available on the day they come out, and occasionally other magazines can be found for a price. Satellite TV is currently in the process of being replaced by ADSL, but right now we get BBC World, CNN, CNBC, MTV Austria (with programs in English), VH1, Nickelodeon, EuroNews, and a few Saudi channels that only show programs in English (MBC2, MBC4, and OneTV). - Aug 2006
