English-language newspapers and TV available? Cost?
Yes newspapers and magazines are available. We had AFN, but you could get local cable which I believe had a few English shows. - Sep 2013
Many newsstands in the center of Athens and the tourist areas carry English-language newspapers and magazines from both the US and Great Britain. Satellite TV carrying many English-language programs is available is available through NOVA, to include DVR and HD service, as well as digital radio.
