Is it easy to make friends with locals here? Are there any prejudices or any ethnic groups who might feel uncomfortable here?
It's easy to make friends with Greeks, but you need to be prepared for late nights. On the prejudice front, Greeks are xenophobic (a Greek word, lol), especially when it comes to Muslims/Arabs after the waves of migration circa 2015-2017. - May 2025

Greeks take a bit to trust and warm up to you but after that they treat you like family. Just ignore the constant yelling and what may seem like overreacting….also the many many personal questions. - Jan 2023
