Varies. Young single men tend to be happy here. Women not so much. Families are OK until there is a health problem with their children. The biggest challenge is the lack of things to do. After a short amount of time, you run out of activities and you're very secluded. - Feb 2012


Good. Everyone pretty much agrees that Guyana is a well-kept secret. No one comes here, and no one knows that it is a decent place. The feeling seems to shared among most ex-pats, they all get along well, and morale is good. - Feb 2010
