What is the air quality like at post (good/moderate/bad)? Are there seasonal air quality issues? Does the air quality have an impact on health?
Air quality is great as we're on the ocean. Some allergies in the Spring or when it's dusty but in general it's great here. - Mar 2026

Occasional Sahara wind brings a lot of sand/dust in the air and can be a problem for people with breathing issues. Traffic pollution in the city can be troublesome, though the sea breeze tend to clear anything quickly. - Jun 2021

Decent but not great. There are many allergy problems and burning trash is a frequent odor outside the city. Smoking is very prevalent and every bar/restaurant is filled with smokers. - Jun 2012
