What accommodations do schools make for special-needs kids?
I don't know for the American schools but the French school makes accommodations depending on what your child needs, as our kids had additional support in French our first year at the school to help them catch up to grade level and provide additional support classes for other subjects such as math. - Mar 2026
Contact the school first, but CAS has a special ed coordinator and a school psychologist. In the community, however, there are very limited resources for OT, PT and Speech, you'd really have to do some checking. Overall the school has been very good in accomodating my son's mild special needs. - Apr 2010
