Casablanca - Post Report Question and Answers

What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?

It's like Southern California as it's never too hot or too cold. This year we had must more rain in the winter, but in general winter is in the 50s and summer is in the high-80s and low-90s. The ocean breeze keeps it cooler there. It's humid but not hot, sticky humid. Our houses are cold in the winter as they are concrete with tile floors and the space heaters can only do so much. - Mar 2026

It is generally mild in winter and hot and humid in summer. - Sep 2022

Mediterranean climate. summer high's in the mid/upper 80s, low's in the mid 60's. Winter high's in the upper 50s, low's in the low 40s. Warm/dry but humid summers, cool wet winters with rain from Nov/Dec to Mar/Apr. Spring and Fall are beautiful. - Jul 2014

Many would liken Casablanca to Southern California. You will get some cold and rainy days in the winter but there's also a lot of sun. March in particular is very nice -- brisk, fresh, everything is green. Summers are hot but not unbearably so. There's often some morning and late afternoon fog. - May 2014

Weather is pretty much perfect year round (highs in the 70's-80's during the day, can get down into the 30's at night in the winter, but nice during the day. This is only in Casa/Rabat though) - Jun 2012

Awesome. One of the best parts of being here. - Apr 2010

Pretty ideal. Winters are mild with highs of 60-70 (F) degrees not uncommon even in January and February. Summers can be hot. In the past, some people have complained about the rain. - Mar 2008
