What English-language religious services are available locally?
I think quite a few. Botswana is an extremely Christian country. There's also one or two mosques, a Sikh temple, and at least one Buddhist temple that I know of. We are not religious, but I think someone who is will find options. - Aug 2024
English is an official language, so services are available in English at almost all houses of worship. I have not seen a local synagogue here. I think that is due to the small size of the Jewish community rather than due to anti-semitism. - Dec 2023
There were some but I did not attend there. Some of my friends that attended said they were frequently asked to lend money to other parishioners. - Jul 2019
I only attended some local Christian churches (Baptist or non denominational). I know that Latter Day Saints is also very active, and Seventh Day Adventist. If you are Jewish you are out of luck. I don't think there are any synagogues in Botswana, although have run into a handful of Israelis so maybe there are some Jewish services that I am not aware of. - Apr 2017
