English-language newspapers and TV available? Cost?
There are some newstands with some English magazines like The Economist. There is a bewildering range of satellite channels, some of which are English but it depends on which package you buy. On a monthly rate, it isn't expensive (US$15-20 for a couple hundred channels, mostly Arabic with some French and a couple English). - Nov 2011
