What is the typical dress code at work and in public places? Is formal dress ever required?
Khakis and collared shirts are the daily dress typically besides the Ambo/CDA and DCM. Although the occasional suit and tie will be spotted, it is a casual post. No stuffy suits unless it is a special occasion. Public places shorts and t-shirts. Bikinis and swimsuits of all shapes and sizes welcome in country pools and beaches. - Aug 2026
