Are there any particular mental health issues that tend to crop up at post, such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter blues)?
Post can be fairly isolating if you don't make an effort. It's a small US post (approximately 40 Americans). Belizeans are easy to get along with. Travel other than to the beach or one of the Cayes can get complicated fast, so if you have to travel back to the US a lot it can be overwhelming. - Jun 2026
