Are credit cards widely accepted and safe to use locally? Are ATMs common and do you recommend using them? Are they safe to use?
We have heard of no problems using ATMs at banks or those associated with banks. There are also some stores like Carrefore and Decathalon (sporting goods) that take international credit cards, so far safely. - Sep 2010
