Are qualified veterinarians and/or good kennel services available? Do animals need to be quarantined upon entry to the country? Are there other considerations regarding pets that are particular to this country?
Yes, lots of vets and kennels, all pet services. No quarantine. Get your dog a winter coat and booties for snow and ice. - Sep 2025

No. Officially you need a rabies vaccination certificate, but no one bothered to look at them when I brought my pets into Canada. I drove up from DC, though, and did not go through an airport. - Jan 2013
