What is the typical dress code at work and in public places? Is formal dress ever required?
Standard US business dress is most common. In winter people typically winter boots and coats at the door and bring a pair of dress indoor shoes with them for work events (and go in socks for casual events). Not much call for formal dress. - Sep 2025
