How would you describe the availability and cost of groceries and household supplies relative to your home country?

Same price as in the USA and everything is avalable. There are also many grocery stores dedicated to a region, such as the Asian Grocery store or the Brazil one. - Jan 2011


Groceries and household supplies are about 30% more expensive in Canada than the U.S.We drive to Ogdensburg, NY when possible to buy milk for $1.50a gallon instead of $5. - Sep 2010


My advice - do what most diplomats (and many Canadians) do: travel 60 miles to Ogdensburg, New York, to shop at the Price Chopper and Wal-Mart. You'll find better quality, selection and prices. - Oct 2009
