What types of jobs do most expatriate spouses/partners have? Locally based or telecommuting? Full-time or part-time? Can you comment on local salary scales?

No. Working here requires a permit which often takes months to get approved. Lots of fields are closed, and if you are doing a job that a Bahamian could do (in theory) then it gets denied. - Jun 2015
