Is high-speed home Internet access available? How long does it typically take to install it after arrival?

Rogers and Tellus are the main providers. You can set them up as you would in the States, in an hour or so. - Apr 2026

Yes and they can have it up and running within a week of finding a house. You can choose your speed and GB allowance. We have high-speed and 400GB a month for around $100 a month. Since we live up in the mountains, we only have one company who provides internet up here but those closer into town have more variety. - May 2017

Yes. Same as America - Aug 2015

Available and priced fairly, though with my modest Telus tv/landline package it came to about US$200 per month. Adding in my cell bill (US$95) I guess that is a lot. - Jun 2014

High speed service costs about 30 CAD a month. - Mar 2012

Yes. Expect about US$60-$100 per month for high-speed. - Oct 2008
