Would someone with physical disabilities have difficulties living in this city?

I think so - it is hilly, cobblestones, and not all sidewalks have a ramp for wheelchairs. I don't see people in wheelchairs often. If not constrained by a device; the city itself is quite walkable. - May 2021

Yes -- but no more difficulty than living in Rome. People are helpful, but not all facilities are accessible. - Aug 2017

Possible. The streets are still cobblestone in the Old City so walking with my sons stroller was sometimes a bit tough so I can imagine that someone with a wheelchair might find it to be quite difficult. However, the buses and trams were mostly accessible. - Jun 2017

In the Old Town it is difficult. - Feb 2017

There many be issues with wheelchair access in some places but, overall, I think it would be fine. There are elevators in many places, ramps, etc. Lots of handicapped parking. - Sep 2016

I think someone with physical disabilities would have some difficulties living here, as it is not very wheelchair accessible. I realize this now that I often travel with a stroller. - Jun 2015

Only the newer shopping malls have wheelchair ramps. High curbs and cobblestone streets would be difficult for many. - Dec 2009

No problem at all. - Apr 2010
