Are preschools available? Day care? Are these expensive? What has been your experience with them, if any? Do the schools provide before- and/or after-school care?
Generally for under two no. For over two I have heard that there are options available however I don't know the cost or if people are happy with them. I do know that the Anglo Americans school offers extracurricular activities but unsure about before or after school services. - Jun 2023

Yes, but we haven't used them. I don't think they are very expensive. We have an in-home babysitter / nanny, and pay 900 leva/month for about 40 hours per week (about US$520). - May 2016

My favorite is Montessori School in Studentskigrad. That is the only daycare that provides your choice of organic food for kids. Others are very typical, just famous by being in major housing areas. I would not recommend them as most of them have only 20-25 m2 rooms for 10 kids to play ALL DAY. And they serve cakes and cookies as snacks, I thinks that tells a lot. - Aug 2014
