What do you wish you had known about this particular city/country before moving there?

I heard all about how Wuhan was one of the "four furnaces" of China, and while it is absolutely wretchedly hot in the summer, I wasn't prepared for how audaciously cold it gets in the winter. Yes, it has both seasons-- with a minuscule spring and fall squeezed in between. - Jan 2020
