Are credit cards widely accepted and safe to use locally? Are ATMs common and do you recommend using them? Are they safe to use?
It is hard to find international ATMS in East Jerusalem. You can either go to French Hill or to West Jerusalem to get cash. Credit cards are OK though. Most places take them. - May 2006
