How much of the local language do you need for daily living? Are local language classes/tutors available and affordable?
English is not widely spoken in Yekaterinburg. It is definitely beneficial to have a basic grasp on shopping vocabulary, for example. There are indeed tutors available through the consulate. - Feb 2020
