What is the relative size of the expatriate community? How would you describe overall morale among expatriates?

It is pretty large - there are many who have fallen in love with Sri Lanka and have moved there permanently or return frequently. Lots of Sri Lankans leave to get a good education in the US, Australia or the UK, and many find themselves returning.
