What kind of car do you recommend bringing to post, given the terrain, availability of parts, burglary/carjacking risks, etc.? What kind of car do you advise not to bring?
Don't bring a car. You won't really need it if you stay most of the time in the city. Bus service, urban trains and subway are ok. - Jul 2008
The smaller car, the better. It's best to rent a car just on the weekends if one needs to go to Costa Brava or Andorra. Parking is at a premium. A scooter is a preferred mode of transportation and now there are bicycles available for rent all over the city. - May 2008
