Are qualified veterinarians and/or good kennel services available? Do animals need to be quarantined upon entry to the country? Are there other considerations regarding pets that are particular to this country?
Unknown as we don't have pets. I will say that, as with childcare, finding good pet sitters can be a challenge, or so I've heard. - Aug 2023

Vets will readily do house calls. Germans are very considerate of pets. Animals do not need to be quarantined.
We've had nothing but the best care in Berlin for our pet. Suggest getting a veterinarian-issued European Union passport for your pet to allow you to take them with you back and forth on flights. - Jan 2018
