Port Of Spain - Post Report Question and Answers

Are qualified veterinarians and/or good kennel services available? Do animals need to be quarantined upon entry to the country? Are there other considerations regarding pets that are particular to this country?

Vet help here is good, but the process of getting an animal into the country is very expensive and time consuming. If you do not already have a pet, don't get one before you come. You can certainly adopt one while here which several colleagues have done. For more information, write to the Community Liaison Office (CLO). - Aug 2021
