How would you describe the availability and cost of groceries and household supplies relative to your home country?
There are a few options for grocery shopping. There is a Tesco hypermarket, Jusco's department store and supermarket, and two branches of Giant supermarket. You can buy very good, fresh, cheap fruit and veg at the wet market at Melaka Sentral or at any of the night markets. The cost of groceries is cheaper than in KL and much cheaper than the UK. - Sep 2007
