Do you feel that it is safe to walk, run or hike outside? Are there areas where bike riding is possible? What is the availability and safety of outdoor space for exercising? Are these easily accessible?
Yes, very safe. We are right next to a large park that is lovely. Frankfurt is also a dream to bike around, with bike paths on every street and a good driving culture of accommodating cyclists. We have a car, but in many instances, like going downtown to shop or eat, it's easier to bike with the family. Further out, Frankfurt has many well-manicured parks and outdoor spaces with playgrounds and also dog parks. There is also a dog park with two gated areas on the Siedlung. - Oct 2025
Frankfurt feels safe during the day. Stay out of Gruneburg park at night and don't go near the train station. - Aug 2025
