What kinds of gyms or other sports/workout facilities are available? Are they expensive?

Awesome running groups!! Kayaking groups, scuba diving, yoga, personal trainers. There is a gymnastics gym, mixed martial arts gym and other organized sports. - Nov 2022


There are gyms. They are likely expensive. Body fuel gym seems to be a favorite. Also coliseum gym is popular. Other people have a trainer that comes to their house. There are thousands of running groups around the peninsular too. - Jul 2022

The US embassy gym is available and has recently been upgraded. The employee association at the embassy has an awesome pool. There is a gym at the Coliseum Hotel which is open to the public, but I don't know the costs. - Jun 2017


Yes. The Embassy has a nice pool and OK tennis court (US$120 for a family to join for the year) and also a gym (no membership). Private gyms are also available; I'd guess about US$100/month, though I'm not sure. - Jul 2015
