English-language newspapers and TV available? Cost?
TV was dish. i think it was about US$40 per month, and included internet too which was good enough for me, but I didn't ever try to download movies. Busy enough with parties. - Sep 2013

No on the newspapers. Directv from Venezuela is $50 a month and you get all the networks from the states. AFN is also available through the Embassy. - Feb 2010
