Is this a good city for LGBT expatriates? Why or why not?

From what I have been told it is an excellent city for LGBTQ+. - Feb 2022


Yes. They were the first country in the world to perform same sex unions and they have huge pride celebrations (pre-covid). - Jun 2021


This is the first country to recognize same-sex unions back in 1989. In 2012 it was changed to same-sex marriage. There is a huge LGBT community. The embassy has participated in Pride Week for the past couple of years. I'd say it's a pretty good city for an LGBT expat. - Jul 2016

Yes, it is an EXCELLENT city for gay & lesbians. Beyond being considered equal in the society (pretty much without a second thought), there is a large GLBT event in Copenhagen each year (in the fall, I beliieve). - Jul 2011
