Dili - Post Report Question and Answers

Would someone with physical disabilities have difficulties living in this city?

Yes. Other than the Embassy, not ADA friendly. - Aug 2021

Possibly. Sidewalks are not the best quality and there aren't many elevators; but there aren't many high-rise buildings either. The worst part for someone with disabilities would probably be the limited access to good medical care. If your disability would be a serious consideration in an emergency situation, I would think hard about that before coming here. - Sep 2017

Very difficult. - May 2017

For the most part, yes, most facilities are not built for those with disabilities. - Sep 2016
