What is the typical dress code at work and in public places? Is formal dress ever required?
Chiang Mai is quite casual and laid back. I RARELY see people wearing a full suit (maybe only at the nice hotels) and most people wear either a polo shirt and khakis or a button-down shirt and khakis to work. - Mar 2019
