What is the overall climate: is it extremely hot or cold, wet or dry, at any time of year, for example?

Four distinct seasons. Winter is dark and snowy, can be cold but not extremely so. Summer is just lovely, long hours of sun, not too hot, and beautiful weather. - Mar 2022

Latvia has four distinct seasons - spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The summers can be cool with a few warm or even hot days sprinkled in here and there). Winters aren't too bad- generally in the 20s Fahrenheit, with a few days that may go below 0F.
