Are preschools available? Day care? Are these expensive? What has been your experience with them, if any? Do the schools provide before- and/or after-school care?
Preschool is subsidized for Italians - if you are an expat, it is most likely you won't qualify for that program. There are plenty of private options, but expect to pay ,1000 euros or more a month. There are English-speaking schools in addition to Italian (of course), German, and French. - Aug 2013
