Are there problems with ethnic, race/racial minorities or religious prejudices? Gender equality?

The majority of people in Barbados are black, so if you’re not and your accent is American they’ll automatically assume you’re a tourist or work for the Embassy. There’s a fairly large cadre of expat British and Europeans here as well. - Aug 2019
