What are some typical ways to socialize, either with local people or with other expatriates? Are there groups or clubs that you can recommend?
There is a pool/pool bar complex on the USG-owned compound where most people socialize and hold events. The beach is accessible from this compound and other beaches are within driving distance. The French military base has activities and holds an open enrollment day, but I have no direct experience with these. - Oct 2020
