Fukuoka - Post Report Question and Answers

Would someone with physical disabilities have difficulties living in this city?

Not in the main city itself, as it is trying to keep up with the aging population. The blind can get along well. I took my grandma around in a wheelchair and though it was not the easiest thing, it was doable. Outside of the city, sidewalks can be hard to come by. Again, because of the aging population, cities are trying to adapt. Rainbow Plaza has more information. - Jan 2007
