Conakry - Post Report Question and Answers

Is this a "shopping post"? Are there interesting handicrafts, artwork, antiques, or other items that people typically buy there?

Not a mall-type shopping post. But yes, Guinean musical instruments are coveted throughout the region: drums, koras, balafons. You can also get quirky wood carvings, furniture, statuettes.
