Are there problems with ethnic, race/racial minorities or religious prejudices? Gender equality?

There is a constant friction between people of the Jewish and Muslim faith, especially in Jerusalem. You don’t feel it so much in Herzliya. Rockets and violence happens and you just need to be very aware of your surroundings when traveling. - Mar 2022

Yes, Israeli's (not all of course) seem quite prejudiced. There is a lot of anger and tension in the air at all times! You have the Jews, the Ultra-Orthodox, the Muslims, the Christians... all living in a small place, seeing things differently and arguing about it. It can be very draining! - Aug 2013
